Originally from the Midwest, Amy moved to San Diego in 2001. A graduate of Valparaiso University, Amy had been a Financial Advisor since 1997. When Amy began taking Pilates with her neighbor Wendy, in 2006, she fell in love with the method and benefits of the program and knew she wanted to help others achieve their fitness goals. She studied under Stephanie Aubachon with Kore Pilates in La Jolla to become a certified Pilates instructor. It was not until Amy took her first barre class that she discovered her true passion for fitness. She loved the challenge and energy of each class. And more importantly, she was excited by the results as her body became more toned than through any other workout routine she had tried in the past. Amy would be one of the best testimonials for Fit in 60 Pilates and Barre. In less than a month’s time, attending 4-5 classes a week, Amy went from a size 10/12 to a size 6. She came home one day and told her husband, Mike that “if every girl knew this, every girl would do it.” Amy is passionate about getting to know her clients and provide modifications and corrections to challenge every client, while making classes as safe as possible. Amy lives in Carlsbad with her husband, Mike, and her dog Emma. She loves what she does, and is thrilled to present the Fit in 60 workout to Carlsbad and Carmel Valley and is eager to women look and feel great!
Wendy began training in Ballet and Pointe in Los Angeles, CA at age of 5. From there Wendy went on to dance, perform and instruct at several Dance studios in the Los Angeles Area. Wendy was also the main Director of Dance at Reseda High School and responsible for several Dance Productions and Half-Time Shows. Her love and passion for dance took her to numerous Dance Competitions thru CA to Las Vegas and more. At the age of 18 Wendy joined forces with a partner and opened up her first Dance Studio in LA. Wendy’s next adventure took her to San Diego, where she opened up Dare To Dance Studio in Oceanside, CA. Wendy’s vision continued to be a Dance Studio that was non-competitive and open to all Dancers from all studios around. Wendy was introduced to Pilates at the age of 13 and continued working/training in that form until today. Passionate about her dancers, Wendy would take all of her Dance, Pilates, Yoga and strength training background and offer classes like Strengthen and Lengthen to Dancers and workout enthusiasts. Wendy’s love for Pilates and the body eventually brought her to begin her formal, machine based Pilates Studio Business in Carlsbad, CA. Wendy made one final life choice on June 3, 2012 that brought her back to San Diego, CA. Wendy and Emmett were lucky enough to marry Mr. Greg Stull. Wendy took her “return home” as an opportunity to check back in with her long time friend and (prior Pilates Client) Amy Mewborn. It was Amy’s positive view on how much Wendy would fall in love with Fit in 60 and what it had to offer that reinforced Wendy’s decision to become a certified barre instructor for Fit in 60 in Carlsbad and Carmel Valley, CA. In 2013, Amy and Wendy decided to join forces and bring Amy’s barre studios and Wendy’s pilates studio together to create their ongoing vision of a fun, positive, encouraging, safe place to work out.
Hanging up her soccer cleats after playing competitive soccer for over 20 years, Stephanie sought a new fitness challenge. She took one Pilates reformer class in 2004 and was hooked. Stephanie was certified through Peak Pilates all apparatus, and has been teaching since 2005. Her passion for Pilates inspired her to open a studio in 2008, where she worked professional athletes, as well as clients with debilitating injuries. After owning the studio for over 2 years, she decided to move from Michigan out to southern California, where she explored different barre methods, looking to expand her Pilates repertoire. Before you could count down from eight, she was addicted to Fit in 60 because it combined the precision of Pilates, the burn of barre, and captured what all other methods lacked – cardio. Her favorite part of learning to teach Fit in 60 is that she considers herself an athlete, not a dancer. Learning the to teach the elements of rhythm and coordination proved to be a challenge to her, but has enabled her to help even the most uncoordinated clients achieve the grace of a ballerina. Stephanie has a BA in International Business from Alma College and an MBA from Wayne State University and speaks French. In her free time, she likes to shop, club hop, bottle pop, and covets anything that helps her on her pursuit for eternal youth.

Growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa, Natalie began ballet at the age of two, continuing to dance under the Royal Academy of Dance through her teenage years. She has always enjoyed an active lifestyle, including ballet, Pilates, and playing competitive tennis with her husband! Natalie began taking Fit in 60 classes several months ago and was hooked from the first plié in the warm-up routine! The combination of dance, cardio, and Pilates gave Natalie the “one-stop shop” workout she was desperately looking for. As a barre instructor, Natalie looks forward to sharing her passion and enthusiasm for Fit in 60 with her clients-while of course, giving them a full body, intense workout. Stacey, born and raised in San Diego, has always enjoyed a very active lifestyle. Whether it was competitive soccer, snowboarding, tennis, or simply sweating it out in the gym, staying physically fit has always been a very important part of her life. In 2009, Stacey suffered a significant knee injury, which drastically changed her ability to participate in the high levels of physical fitness that brought her so much joy. It was difficult to find a workout that was as exhilarating as competitive sports, but low impact enough for her knee on a regular basis. After trying several workouts, she became one of the Carlsbad studios’ first clients following their 2010 grand opening. Needless to say, she has been hooked ever since! As part owner of a small business, This Radiant Life, she is dedicated to helping others achieve their personal best. Educating herself and others on alternative healing, achieving a healthy balanced lifestyle, and a well-rounded workout routine has been a prime focus and passion of hers for the past few years. She is very excited to be a part of such an incredible group of women and is so passionate about sharing this workout with others. Challenging clients as a barre instructor to take their physical fitness to the next level, while sculpting their bodies in a way no other workout can gives her so much joy.
